We are an independent, family run business.  Since our inception in 2001, we have continued to grow and now pride ourselves on our printing and customer service. 

We prefer to work with our customers to enable them to have the most suitably printed job, at a competitive price and of a high quality to meet all customers expectations.

    Your personal information is important to us and we are committed to safeguarding and protecting your personal data and privacy.


    It will also be used in connection with operating your account.  We will only use your personal data for these specific purposes. 


    We do not sell or share your personal information with any third-parties for commercial reasons.



    What personal data do we hold?


    We hold details provided by you on opening an account or when contact us. The data will typically include your name, job title, business address, email address and contact telephone numbers and bank details if an account is opened.


    We also collect information and keep records about the transactions you undertake with us. These transactions will typically be order placing, request for quotations, requests for information and payment records. 


    We will also hold information within artwork files which may contain your details.


     

    What do we use your personal data for?


    We may use your information to provide our service to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you and send you information that is required to operate your account.


     


    How is your data held ?


    All of the data held by us is in electronic form and/or paper form where printed copies are necessary. All paper records are held at our secure offices. Electronic data including artwork is held on our internal server which is not accessible via the internet. All data on this server is encrypted for security and is firewall and password protected.


     


    How long is data held ?


     


    Paper documents are held for the regulatory period and then destroyed securely by shredding. Electronic data and artwork files is held as long as necessary to operate your account.


    All electronic data no longer required will be deleted from all of our systems.



    What are the legal grounds for processing your personal information?


    Wombourne Printers Limited are the Data Controller as defined by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

     

  • Environmental Policy

    At Wombourne Printers we are committed to operating in a environmentally sound and sustainable manner. In order to limit our environmental impact we use either 100% recycled paper produced in accordance with ISO14001 standards or paper supplied from renewable sources – and all our paper is bleached using chlorine free chemicals.  In addition, we ensure that only non-toxic, alcohol-free and vegetable based inks are used during our printing process.

    TERMS OF SALE (COMMERCIAL PRINTING)

    These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all quotations, sales, and supply of goods and services by Wombourne Printers Limited (“Wombourne Printers”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“Customer”, “you”, “your”). By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

    1. QUOTATIONS AND PRICING

    1.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise in writing.

    1.2 Prices are based on the specifications and information supplied by the Customer. If specifications change, prices may be revised.

    1.3 Prices are exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.

    1.4 Prices do not include delivery, courier charges, special packaging, or insurance unless agreed in writing.

    1.5 We reserve the right to correct typographical or administrative errors in quotations, invoices, and other documentation.

    2. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

    2.1 Orders may be placed by email, telephone, online, or in writing.

    2.2 No order shall be binding until accepted by us in writing, by issue of an order confirmation, or by commencement of production.

    2.3 The Customer is responsible for ensuring all order information is accurate, including quantity, specification, stock type, finish, colour requirements, and delivery details.

    3. PAYMENT TERMS

    3.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.

    3.2 We reserve the right to request payment in advance or a deposit prior to commencing work, particularly for first-time customers or large orders.

    3.3 Late payments may be charged interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

    3.4 We reserve the right to suspend work or withhold delivery if payments are overdue.

    3.5 The Customer shall be responsible for all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts.

    4. VAT AND TAXES

    4.1 VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.

    4.2 Where the Customer is VAT exempt, valid evidence must be supplied before invoicing.

    5. CUSTOMER MATERIALS, ARTWORK AND FILES

    5.1 The Customer shall supply artwork and files in a format suitable for print production.

    5.2 Unless otherwise agreed, we do not check Customer files for spelling, grammar, layout, missing fonts, image resolution, colour setup, or design errors.

    5.3 If files are not print-ready, additional charges may apply for pre-press work, corrections, or design time.

    5.4 We are not responsible for errors caused by Customer-supplied files.

    6. PROOFS AND APPROVAL

    6.1 Proofs may be supplied electronically or in hard copy (at additional cost).

    6.2 The Customer is responsible for checking all proofs carefully.

    6.3 Once proofs are approved, the Customer accepts full responsibility for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

    6.4 Any changes requested after proof approval may result in additional charges and revised lead times.

    7. COLOUR MATCHING AND PRINT TOLERANCES

    7.1 We aim to reproduce colour as accurately as reasonably possible, however exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.

    7.2 Screen proofs and digital proofs may not represent final printed output accurately due to differences in monitors, printers, inks, and materials.

    7.3 Minor variations in trimming, folding, binding, finishing, and registration are considered normal within commercial printing tolerances.

    8. OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS

    8.1 Due to the nature of commercial print production, delivery quantities may vary by up to 10% above or below the quantity ordered.

    8.2 The Customer will be invoiced for the quantity actually delivered.

    9. DELIVERY, COLLECTION AND LEAD TIMES

    9.1 Delivery times provided are estimates and are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing as a fixed deadline.

    9.2 Production lead times commence only once we have received:

    • full and correct print-ready files, 

    • proof approval (where applicable), and 

    • deposit or payment (where required). 

    9.3 Delivery charges may apply.

    9.4 Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier, or upon collection from our premises.

    9.5 The Customer must ensure appropriate access and arrangements for delivery. Failed deliveries may result in additional charges.

    10. TITLE AND OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

    10.1 Title to goods remains with Wombourne Printers Limited until payment has been received in full for all outstanding invoices.

    10.2 We reserve the right to recover goods supplied if payment is not made in accordance with these Terms.

    11. CLAIMS, DEFECTS AND NOTIFICATION

    11.1 The Customer must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery or collection.

    11.2 Claims for shortages, damage, or defects must be submitted in writing within 5 working days of receipt.

    11.3 No claim will be accepted after goods have been used, distributed, altered, or further processed.

    11.4 Where a defect is accepted by us, our liability shall be limited (at our discretion) to:

    • reprinting the defective goods, or 

    • issuing a credit note, or 

    • refunding the value of the defective goods.

    12. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

    12.1 Printed goods are made to order and are non-returnable, except where faulty or not produced in accordance with agreed specifications.

    12.2 We are not liable for dissatisfaction relating to subjective matters such as minor colour variation or finishing differences within normal tolerances.

    13. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

    13.1 Orders may only be cancelled with our written agreement.

    13.2 If an order is cancelled, the Customer shall be liable for all costs incurred up to the point of cancellation, including materials, labour, setup, and design/pre-press time.

    13.3 Any changes requested after acceptance may result in additional charges and revised delivery times.

    14. CUSTOMER WARRANTIES AND INDEMNITY

    14.1 The Customer warrants that it owns or has the right to use all materials supplied for printing, including images, logos, trademarks, and text.

    14.2 The Customer warrants that the materials provided do not infringe any third-party rights and do not contain unlawful content.

    14.3 The Customer agrees to indemnify Wombourne Printers Limited against all claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

    • infringement of intellectual property rights, 

    • defamation, or 

    • breach of law arising from Customer-supplied materials.

    15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    15.1 We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of reputation, or loss of opportunity.

    15.2 Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for that order.

    15.3 Nothing in these Terms shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

    16. FORCE MAJEURE

    We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) equipment failure, supplier shortages, courier disruption, industrial disputes, fire, flood, severe weather, or government action.

    17. STORAGE OF CUSTOMER GOODS AND MATERIALS

    17.1 Any Customer materials, plates, dies, or printed stock held by us may be stored for up to 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    17.2 After this period, we reserve the right to charge storage fees or dispose of items without liability.

    18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND MARKETING USE

    18.1 Unless otherwise agreed, all intellectual property rights in Customer-supplied content remain with the Customer.

    18.2 We may retain production files and job information for our internal records.

    18.3 Unless the Customer objects in writing prior to production, we may display completed work in our portfolio, website, or marketing materials.

    19. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

    19.1 These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

    19.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of these Terms or any contract between the parties.

    20. GENERAL

    20.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

    20.2 No waiver by us of any breach shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

    20.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties relating to the sale of goods and services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

    Our products are manufactured items and therefore we will only offer refunds if the product is faulty. To receive a refund the product must be returned to us in the original condition. The product remains the property of Wombourne Printers Limited until paid for in full
